YouView has updated the Android version of its remote recording app, introducing the ability to review recording requests from a new Bookings screen.
Each recording request now includes the status so users can see which have been successful or whether there’s a clash with an earlier booking requested either through the app or directly on the YouView+ box.
The update brings the Android version of the app into line with the iOS edition for Apple’s iPhone and iPad.
The app is compatible with all YouView+ boxes and should work on all devices running Android 2.3 or above.
YouView say it’s been tested to support the following smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy Ace, LG Nexus 4, and the HTC One (m7).
