The world of video game Halo is set to expand next month with the release Halo Legends, of an animated movie on both DVD and limited edition Blu-Ray.
With more than 27 million copies of the games sold producers of the movie, which tells seven new stories, are expecting demand to be high.
Each story is set in the 26th Century of the Halo universe and have been mastered by a highly celebrated Japanese anime studio, offering a range of visual styles.
There will be three different versions available; a 1-disc DVD, 2-disc Special Edition DVD and limited edition Blu-Ray steel book. The 2-disc Special Edition contains “several hours” of extras including audio commentaries and features.
In addition to the content from the 2-disc DVD version, the Blu-Ray release includes “Halo: The Story so Far,” an overview of the Halo universe up until the end of Halo 3.
Halo Legends is released on February 15th and can be pre-ordered from the seenit.co.uk store
