The film follows American sniper Matthew Quigley (Selleck) who travels to Australia for a new job only to discover that his prospective employer, landowner Elliot Marston (Alan Rickman), wants his help in murdering the local indigenous population. When Quigley refuses he finds himself on the receiving end of Marston’s vengeance.
