The BBC has unveiled the shortlist for its inaugural Audio Drama Awards, aimed at celebrating “the cultural importance of audio drama, on air and online”. The winners will be announced on Sunday 29th January 2012 in the Radio Theatre at BBC Broadcasting House. The ceremony will bepresented by actor David Tennant.
Unlike other recent BBC awards lists, the Audio Drama shortlist contains women, no pandas and wasn’t judged by the staff of lads mags.
