The BBC has today replaced the iPlayer Radio website with an updated version of its recently launched BBC Sounds service.
Originally unveiled as an app in June, Sounds brings together radio, music and podcasts “into a single personalised experience” and includes popular features such as downloads and schedules for BBC radio stations.
In a blog post, Dan Taylor-Watt, Head of BBC iPlayer & BBC Sounds, reveals the broadcaster is also working on adding Autoplay functionality and support for Chromecast, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
