The next James Bond film will be called Skyfall, studios Eon Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment confirmed today.
The title was announced in at a London press conference on Thursday morning.
As previously announced, Daniel Craig will return as agent 007 alongside Dame Judi Dench as ‘M’.
They will be joined by Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw.
Directed by Sam Mendes, the film sees Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

The film goes into production today and will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas on October 26th 2012. North America fans will be able to see it from November 9th 2012.
