The series stars Courteney Cox as Jules Cobb, a single mother in her 40’s, Brian Van Holt as ex-husband Bobby and Dan Byrd as Travis, her dry and witty son who more often than not is the adult observer amongst the group.
Also starring are Christa Miller as next door neighbour and best friend Ellie, Ian Gomez as Ellie’s husband Andy, Josh Hopkins as Jules’ boyfriend/neighbour Grayson and Busy Philipps as Laurie, her younger, feisty protégé.
Together, they make up “the cul-de-sac crew,” a dysfunctional, but supportive and caring extended family.
The third series sees Jules and Grayson get engaged and the arrival of a new love interest for Bobby.
Guest stars for the new series include Zach Braff , Robert Maschio, Ken Jenkins and co-executive producer David Arquette who makes a cameo appearance in the season finale as a hotel concierge who offers to help Jules and the gang with literally anything.
