Fans of Jeremy Clarkson have been given their first official look at the set of his new show.
Co-hosted with former Top Gear starts Richard Hammond and James May, The Grand Tour is filmed in a tent which moves to a new location for each episode.
Studio segments for episode one are being filmed on Sunday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Speaking earlier this year, Jay Marine, vice-president of Amazon Video Europe said: “We love that Jeremy, Richard and James are touring the studio recordings of The Grand Tour, bringing this Amazon Prime show to fans around the world.”
“Given the popularity of Jeremy, Richard and James in South Africa, Johannesburg is a fantastic place to start.
“We’re excited to give fans the opportunity to be part of the first ever live studio audience for The Grand Tour.”
The UK, US and Germany have already been confirmed as locations for future episodes.
Overseen by former Top Gear producer Andy Wilman, the trio’s new show will be exclusively available in the UK on Amazon Prime Video which is included with an Amazon Prime subscription.
The service can be access on selected Smart TVs, via smartphone and tablet apps and via Amazon’s Fire TV stick and Fire TV.
Following today’s shoot, Clarkson told his 6.3m Twitter followers: “I loved today”.
