A couple of weeks ago we brought you the new US trailer for Hammer’s The Quiet Ones which stars Mad Men and Fringe actor Jared Harris and Brit actor Sam Claflin.
Now, courtesy of Lionsgate UK, here’s the official two-minute UK version which nicely sets up the spooky treats in store.
Inspired by true events, the film tells the story of an unorthodox, but charismatic professor who uses controversial methods and embroils his best students in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist from negative human energy.
As frightening occurrences begin to take place with shocking and gruesome consequences, the group quickly realizes they have triggered a force more terrifying and evil than they ever could have imagined.
The Quiet Ones also stars Erin Richards, Olivia Cooke and Rory Fleck-Byrne and will released in UK cinemas on April 11th.
