NOW That’s What I Call Music, one of the biggest brands in music has launched its own dedicated TV channel.
Available from today on Sky channel 378 and FreeSat 512, NOW Music says it is aimed at the “famously wide fan base from teens to grandparents” who have enjoyed the hit CD compilations for the past 30 years.
The channel’s daytime programming will focus on current music while evening and weekend shows will explore the NOW brand’s 30 year old catalogue.
“It’s a perfect time for us to be doing this ,” says NOW Joint MD Steve Pritchard, “ the NOW generation is the one that corresponds almost exactly with the advent of the music video.”
The label is also set to release a host of new titles over the coming weeks, including:
