Sony Movies Christmas channel to launch in September

Sony has announced a treat for Christmas fans – its new Sony Movies Christmas pop-up channel will launch on Tuesday the 10th September with a slate of popular festive films.

Running until January, the channel will be available every day on Freeview 50, Sky 319, Virgin 424 and Freesat 303 with programming highlights including Twelve Dogs of Christmas, Holiday Road Trip, Christmas With the Kranks, Silver Bells and Defending Santa, plus themed weekends.

The channel is part of Sony Pictures Television’s new free to air network which also includes Sony Movies, Sony Movies Action, Sony Movies Classic and Sony Channel.

All channels will be available on Freeview, Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media with a new modern and cinematic design alongside this impressive slate of new and exciting content.
