The Grand Tour – Amazon drops Prime membership fee to £59

Amazon has announced a special four day, £20 discount on the cost of an Amazon Prime subscription, giving new members access to its free delivery perk and TV and movies streaming Amazon Prime Video service for just £59.

The promotion ties-in with Friday’s launch of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May’s The Grand Tour, which will air exclusively on Amazon Prime from this Friday (18th November) and runs until 23:59pm that day.

Shot in 4K Ultra High Definition, the series sees Jeremy, Richard and James have been travelling the world and engaging in their familiar mix of car stunts, gags against some of nature’s most stunning backdrops. And Whitby.

The Grand Tour will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video – including in 4K – from November 18th for anyone with an Amazon Prime subscription or standalone monthly subscription to the Prime Video service.

The service can be accessed on selected Smart TVs, via smartphone and tablet apps and via Amazon’s Fire TV stick and Fire TV.

Meanwhile streamedTV.UK reports that two of the show’s hosts seem to have had motoring mishaps this morning…
