Red Dwarf fans are being urged to book their tickets for this year’s Dimension Jump convention early to avoid disappointment with demand for tickets expected to be high ahead of the show’s return to Dave later this year.
This year’s convention takes place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th April 2011 in Birmingham and tickets cost £55 for The Official Red Dwarf Fan Club members and £60 for non-members.
The convention is the only such event supported by the show’s production team, Grant Naylor Productions.
Series stars Chris Barrie (Rimmer), Danny John-Jules (The Cat), Hattie Hayridge (Holly) and Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) are scheduled to appear at the event alongside members of the show’s production crew.
“With a few members of the cast and crew known for dropping hints and even bringing official Red Dwarf news to Dimension Jump in the past, it’s fair to say that this year will bring some exciting surprises,” says superfan and Chairman of TORDFC, James Bull.
“It’s not surprising that places for Dimension Jump are strictly limited and with less than four weeks to go, tickets are going faster than you can say ‘jozxyqk!’.”
More information on the convention and details of how to register can be found on the official Dimension Jump XVI mini-site at www.dimensionjump.info. The convention takes place at the Queensway Holiday Inn in Birmingham.
