The big screen remake of 21 Jump Street is heading to cinemas on March 16th.
The original 1997 series starred Johnny Depp as Officer Tom Hanson, one of a team of young-looking undercover detectives investigating crimes in high schools and colleges.
In the film, Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum play Jump Street officers Schmidt and Jenko who go undercover in a local high school.
As they trade in their guns and badges for backpacks, the pair risk their lives to investigate a violent and dangerous drug ring.
But they find that high school is nothing like they left it just a few years earlier – and neither expects that they will have to confront the terror and anxiety of being a teenager again and all the issues they thought they had left behind.
Depp returns as Hanson, a role he left in 1990 although the TV series continued for one season after his departure.
The film has been produced by Douglas S. Rosen, Neal H Moritz and Stephen J. Cannell with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller directing.
