Blackberry has settled its lawsuit against the makers of an add-on keyboard for Apple’s iPhone after the firm agreed to stop selling the product.
The Canadian smartphone maker launched the suit after claiming that Typo’s accessory, which mimics the iconic Blackberry keyboard, breached its patents.
According to a joint statement, Typo and its partners have agreed “to permanently discontinue selling anywhere in the world keyboards for smartphones and mobile devices with a screen size of less than 7.9 inches.”
No other terms of the settlement have been published.
