UK networks announce Nokia Lumia 800 deals

UK mobile customers will be able to buy Nokia’s new Lumia 800 handset from three of the country’s leading networks.

Three, Orange and T-Mobile have all confirmed they will be offering the Windows powered phone from next month.

The handset is made from a one piece polycarbonate body and features a curved 16 million colour, 3.7” touchscreen.

As well as running the new Mango version of Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 800 combines Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin feeds, chat and SMS into one conversation.

Hardware specs include a 1.4 GHZ processor to offer a lightening fast performance, an 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens and LED flash, A-GPS and Bluetooth 2.1.

Orange says it will offer upgrading pay monthly mobile customers a free Xbox 360 when they take the handset on an 18 or 24 month contract.

Stablemate T-Mobile will offer the phone for free to customers taking out a 24 month, £30 price plan.

Rival Three says pricing and availability details will be announced soon but has confirmed it will be offering the “black and striking cyan” versions of the handset.
