Woody Allen's latest London pic coming to DVD

May 12, 2011 - Staff@seenituk

Woody Allen’s star-studded You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger comes to DVD on 11 July 2011.

The film follows a pair of married couples, Alfie (Anthony Hopkins) and Helena (Gemma Jones) and their daughter Sally (Naomi Watts) and husband Roy (Josh Brolin), through the trials and tribulations of their romantic relationships.

The film is Allen’s latest London-set picture and features Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Golden Globe nominee Antonio Banderas (The Mask of Zorro, Evita) along with stellar performances from Brits: Lucy Punch, Anna Friel, Philip Glenister, Pauline Collins and Ewen Bremner.

Follow the intricate lives of these characters while they try to decipher which road to take in life whilst attempting to resolve their romantic relationships. This sweet and humorous take on fortune telling asks: is it better to believe in reality or to be deluded?
