EE’s superfast 4G network has gone live in a further 10 cities and towns with a further 19 due to be switched on before Christmas.
4G mobile broadband offers significantly faster speeds than the previous generation 3G and allows those working away form home or accessing movies and music on their mobiles or tablets to download more data faster.
From today EE’s service is available in Bath, Bournemouth, Brighton, Cambridge, Darlington, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Northampton, Poole Portsmouth and Redcar.
By Christmas the network will also connect Aberdeen, Braintree, Cheltenham, Chester, Dundee, Durham, Exeter, Gloucester, Grimsby, Ipswich, Lincoln, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Peterborough, Plymouth, Stoke-on-Trent, Swansea, Swindon and York.
EE is offering 4G from £18.99 per month with a free Samsung Android smartphone as well as on pay as you go deals from just £10 with 1GB of data and 2,014 free voice minutes for the coming year.
