Cagney & Lacey stars Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly will be taking part in one-off Q&A at the BFI Southbank next month to mark the show’s 30th anniversary.

The hit series, which starred the actresses as a pair of New York detectives, ran for seven seasons from October 8, 1981 to May 16, 1988.

The pair reunited for a series of TV Movies in the mid 1990’s.

Gless and Daly will be joined by Barney Rosenzweig the show’s executive producer, to take part in a panel discussion which will explore how the show changed the representation of women on television.

Tickets for the event cost £13 and £9.75 for concessions. BFI members pay £1.50 less. To book tickets visit www.bfi.org.uk/southbank
