Former Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy actor Lee Majors is to join the revived Dallas.

Majors will star in the next season as an old flame of Sue Ellen Ewing who crosses paths with her over some business.

The second season of Dallas is currently airing in the UK on Channel 5 and will mark the final appearance villain J.R. after actor Larry Hagman passed away last November.

Between 1974 and 1978 Majors enjoyed global fame as Colonel Steve Austin, a NASA astronaut and test pilot who was fitted with bionic limbs and a camera enhanced eye following a near fatal crash.

He returned to the role three times between 1987 and 1994 in a series of The Six Million Dollar Man/The Bionic Woman TV movies alongside Lindsay Wagner and Richard Anderson.

In the 1980’s he enjoyed further success as stuntman and bounty humber Colt Seavers in The Fall Guy. He also played himself in a brief cameo in the Bill Murray comedy film Scrooged.

In 1990 he had a recurring role in the Vietnam drama Tour of Duty and continues to guest star in popular shows, including the William Shatner comedy series $#*! My Dad Says and CSI New York.
