BT TV customers can now buy HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, The Newsroom and Silicon Valley to watch on their big screen TVs or on the move via the firm’s tablet and smartphone apps.
The shows have been added to BT’s digital downloads store just weeks after the ISP struck a deal with HBO to offer its hit dramas Game of Thrones and True Detective.
Additional deals with Sony and the BBC have since seen the addition of James Spader’s hit crime drama The Blacklist, House of Cards and Homeland, as well as Doctor Who, Whitechapel and Ripper Street.
In addition to bolstering its downloads store, BT recently scored exclusive rights to a new channel from US cable giant AMC which will premier Fear the Walking Dead, the much-awaited spin-off of The Walking Dead.
