Channel 4 commissions new Stephen Fry gadget series

Gadget fan Stephen Fry is to present a new Channel 4 series which will see the comedian and actor offering his personal insight into the world of technology.

Across the six-part series Fry will spend a typical day surrounded by gadgetry ranging from ordinary consumer products to extraordinary prototypes from some of the world’s leading companies.

The series will also feature a number of celebrities talking about their personal favourite gadgets as well as a big-scale consumer check to road-test rival products.

The series has been commissioned by Channel 4 Head of Factual Entertainment, Liam Humphreys and Commissioning Editor, Tina Flintoff.

Humphreys, said: “We’re thrilled to have Stephen back on the channel bringing his unique and entertaining take on how technology can magically transform our lives. ”

Fry added: “I am looking forward to further feeding my addiction to all things gadgetry – and having lots of fun in the process – by making this intriguing series for Channel 4.”

The series will air on Channel 4 later this year.
