2K Games have announced an expansion pack for Civilization V, the latest instalment in Sid Meier’s GodSim.
In a blogpost, the developers confirm the Gods & Kings add-on will bring “more techs, units, buildings, Wonders, and playable Civilizations” to the game.
It will also introduce new game elements, including new Wonders, new scenarios, a reworked combat system and enhanced diplomacy.
The expansion pack is slated for a “Spring 2012” release. Mac users can probably expect to wait a while beyond that.
