Sony Entertainment Television has bagged the UK rights to Younger, the hit new US series about a newly single woman who decides to knock a decade off her age and take another shot at pursuing her dream career from the bottom up.
Younger has been written and directed by “Sex and The City” creator Darren Star and stars Sutton Foster as lead character Liza Miller and Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor.
Liza is a fresh-faced 40-year-old mother taking extreme measures to climb the career ladder after her husband leaves her for a younger woman.
When a bar-room pick-up tells the newly single Liza that she looks a lot younger than she really is, she decides to lie about her age and have another attempt at her dream career.
Lost in a brave new world of dating apps, hashtags, and beyond-flaky millennials, can she avoid blowing her cover, and show that the secret to eternal life may lay in simply being a good liar?
Younger will make its UK Premiere on Sony Entertainment Television (Sky 157/Virgin 193/BT and TalkTalk 331) on Wednesday 25th November, 10pm.
