EE has unveiled a new “simplified” pricing structure based around three tiers – EE Max, EE Essential and SIM only.

Described as “the best of EE,” EE Max plans offer the network’s fastest 4G+ speeds, unlimited minutes and texts and data allowances of up to 60GB, plus inclusive roaming 53 destinations around the world.

Customers also get free BT Sport for the duration of their contract and can upgrade their phone every year.

The new EE Essential handset plans start from £15 per month with 4G speeds of up to 60Mbps, plus unlimited calls and texts, which can also be used in 48 countries at no extra cost. Customers also get three months of BT Sport.

EE has also revised its SIM only plans which all now include unlimited minutes and texts and offer data allowances of up to 40GB.

Essential & SIM only customers can also add a range of options, including access to EE’s fastest 4G speeds for just £2 per month, BT Sport for £5 per month, and roaming in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.

Max Taylor, Managing Director of Marketing, EE, said: “We’ve refreshed our EE pay monthly mobile plans to provide customers with even greater choice and flexibility – making it easier for them to choose the right package for them.

“EE continues to be independently recognised as having the UK’s best mobile network and our UK and Ireland call centres, stores across the UK and great online help provide our customers with some of the best customer service in the UK – so EE really is the destination of choice for those wanting to get the most from the latest smartphones.”
