EE updates BT Sport app offer to include casting and inclusive 4G data streaming

EE customers can now watch BT Sport in HD on multiple devices, including their big screen TV, mobile phone or tablet, after the network launched a new offer including the ability to ‘cast’ the channel’s football, boxing and rugby coverage to their chosen screen.

As well as live and on-demand catch-up, the BT Sport App provides highlights, interviews, video diaries, fixtures, results and league tables.

New and existing pay monthly mobile or tablet customers who’ve not yet benefited from EE’s original BT Sport offer can get three months’ free access with inclusive data so they can stream fixtures while on the move, including in HD, without impacting their monthly data allowance.

Customers who have redeemed the original offer can access the app for just £5 for the first three months, saving them up to £30.

After three months, those on EE Max plans can get access to the app on their mobile included in their plan, with inclusive data / TV casting for just £10 a month, while EE Essentials and SIM only customers can get the app on their mobile for £5 a month or inclusive data / TV casting for £15 a month.

Max Taylor, Managing Director of Marketing, EE “We’re really excited to offer EE customers more ways to enjoy sports – and all in glorious HD.

“Whether on-the-go or watching the big game with mates, EE customers now can use the BT Sport app to stream the latest matches across multiple devices including the TV when at home or at a friends’ house, all without requiring a contract or impacting their monthly data allowance.”

Customers can enjoy HD sport on a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or watch it on a bigger TV screen with a casting device such as Apple TV and Chromecast. Customers can register the BT Sport app on up to four different devices and even enjoy HD action on two devices simultaneously.
