Sarah Hadland and Russell Tovey’s ITV2 sitcom The Job Lot has been recommissioned for a third series.
Joining the duo are Jo Enright as Horrible Angela who will be resuming her reign of terror on unsuspecting jobseekers, alongside security guards Janette (Angela Curran) and Paul (Martin Marquez) and terminally work-shy Bryony (Sophie McShera).
The second series completed its run in 2014 after a successful move to ITV2, and saw Karl finally get together with sexy deputy manager Natalie, played by Laura Aikman.
In Series 3, the couple will find out just how difficult it is to have a relationship in front of all their colleagues, and a very demanding boss.
The new series, which is produced by Big Talk Productions, will start filming in spring.
Saskia Schuster, ITV’s Comedy Commissioner said “We’re really happy to bring back this delightfully warm comedy set in a Midlands job centre.
“The scripts are yet again superbly written as we catch up with our favourite characters”.
