ITV2 has secured exclusive broadcast rights to 20th Century Fox Television’s live action comedy Ghosted.

Starring Adam Scott (Big Little Lies, Parks and Recreation, Hot Tub Time Machine) and Craig Robinson (The Office US, Hot Tub Time Machine, This Is The End), the single-camera, live action comedy is based around the partnership between two polar opposites: cynical sceptic (Robinson), and genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Scott), who are recruited by a secret government agency to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles — all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.

Also starring Ally Walker (Colony, Sons of Anarchy), Adeel Akhtar (Unforgotten, The Night Manager) and Amber Stevens West (The Carmichael Show, 22 Jump Street), this heroic group of underdogs will look into unexplained activity in Los Angeles, as they attempt to uncover the truth and keep the Earth rotating on its axis for at least one more day.

Sasha Breslau, ITV Head of Acquired Series said: “Ghosted’s high concept premise hits the mark thanks to the smart writing and its talented cast.

“Adam Scott and Craig Robinson have great chemistry, with our own Adeel Akhtar rounding out a strong ensemble. It is a very welcome addition to ITV2’s stable of standout comedy on the channel.”
