Apple’s latest advert for its new iPad mini focuses on the device’s abilities as an e-reader.
As with earlier ads, the new video shows the iPad mini side-by-side with its full-size counterpart and shows depicts the devices opening and closing books in iBooks, Apple’s ebook store and reading software.
The company unveiled the iPad mini last month and has since announced launch weekend sales of more than three million.
Apple also updated the iBooks e-reading app, adding the ability to scroll through a book instead of turning pages and the ability to share segments with friends via Twitter and Facebook.
The company also refreshed its iBooks Author tool, introducing a new portrait-only template and the ability to embed fonts.
