Logitech launches new Windows 8 mouse

logitech_M560_White Computing accessories firm Logitech has launched introduced a new full-size, wireless mouse featuring a dedicated Windows 8 menu button giving instant access to your most-used functions.

Logitech says the Wireless Mouse M560 has been designed for maximum comfort – regardless of whether you’re a righty or a lefty, use a fingertip or palm grip.

Located behind the scroll wheel, the Windows 8 menu button gives one-click access to commonly used functions, including the Apps Switch and Charms Bar.

It also features two extra thumb buttons so you can switch instantly between the traditional Windows desktop and apps and the new, full-screen Windows 8 interface.

These thumb buttons can also be customised to perform your chosen function.

“We saw a distinct need for a mouse that can keep up with the hours people spend scrolling, searching and clicking on their computer,” said Rogier Volmer, Country Manager UK & Ireland at Logitech.

“The Wireless Mouse M560 makes it easy to quickly access the applications and tools you use most, while providing a new level of comfort for any grip.”

The Wireless Mouse M560 goes on sale in the UK at the end of October 2013, for a suggested retail price of £34.99.
