UKTV has announced a commercial tie-up with Audible which will see the Amazon-owned audiobook brand sponsor the show’s third series and be able to offer customers stories from all three series via the Audible website.
The show, which is produced by Tiger Aspect Productions, has proven a ratings hit for UKTV’s Dave and the new series has signed up Christopher Lloyd, Sarah Millican, Tamsin Greig, Greg Davies and Simon Bird to share more darkly comic stories with viewers. More stars are set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
UKTV’s Hilary Rosen commented, “Crackanory’s unique style of story-telling has captured the imagination of both viewers and industry-critics alike.
“Stellar talent from here and across the pond are clamouring to sit in the iconic Crackanory chair and read one of the 12 twisted tales that will feature in the new series.
