The film stars Ray Winstone and Ben Drew as the Flying Squad’s Regan and Carter, London coppers even harder than the armed villains they take down.
The pair find themselves up against enemies inside and outside the police as they hunt for a gang of jewel thieves.
In part thanks to two days of preview screenings, the film earned £1.5 million and knocked Dredd from the top spot.
