Barnes & Noble’s NOOK Simple Touch and NOOK Simple Touch with GlowLightBook ereader are now available to buy in the UK.
Earlier this year the firm announced it would be bringing the devices to the UK via a dedicated nook.co.uk website and retail partnerships with John Lewis, Foyles, Argos and Blackwells.
The two E-ink devices are equipped with WiFi, offering instant access to the Barnes & Noble ebook store.
The NOOK Simple Touch will retail for £79 while the GlowLight variant – which includes a lit screen – will sell for £109.

Jamie Iannone, President of NOOK Media said, “We’re thrilled to be able to bring our award- winning products and expansive NOOK Store to the UK’s discerning customers. The NOOK brand was created for people who love literature and reading, which is why the UK was a natural place for us to begin our international expansion.
“Our extensive content catalog, intuitive shopping and reading experience, and breakthrough discovery tools like NOOK Channels are a perfect fit for UK digital book readers.”
Next month the firm’s NOOK HD and NOOK HD+ tablets will go on sale, offering customers a full tablet experience in addition to access to their books and other media.
