Paramount has released a four minute clip from Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit which stars Chris Pine as Tom Clancy’s popular CIA operative.
Unlike previous Jack Ryan movies such as Patriot Games and The Hunt for Red October, Shadow Recruit features an original story rather then being adapted from any of the late author’s novels.
Pine becomes the fourth actor to play Ryan, following in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck.
Shadow Recruit also stars Keira Knightley as Ryan’s wife Cathy and Kenneth Branagh as Viktor Cherevin.
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit arrives in US cinemas on January 17th and at UK screens a week later.
