Fans of the late Sir Roger Moore can now buy a collection of rarely seen photos of the star as Simon Templar, officially licensed from the ITV archives.

The collection of 12 images, none of which have previously been available for purchase, feature Sir Roger on the set of several episodes from the cult 60s version of The Saint.

The limited-edition prints mark the show’s 55th anniversary and commemorate not only one of British TV’s most iconic shows, but also one of the country’s best loved actors.

Moore, who passed away last year, went on to cement his star status when he succeeded Sir Sean Connery as James Bond and leveraged his fame to support his charity work, serving as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador from 1991. It was this work which saw him knighted in in 2003.

His most recent role was a cameo in an attempted 2013 Saint reboot starring Adam Rayner.

150 framed prints of the 12 images will be available in each of three sizes, with prices starting at £229, and will be sold exclusively through Classic Stills.

Classic Stills CEO, Rene Freling, said: “Most fans of Sir Roger will have never seen these stunning images.

“We’re honored to make them available as fine-art prints for the first time.”
