Ron Perlman and Paul Ritter join BBC One’s The Capture

March 6, 2019 - Staff@seenituk

Ron Perlman and Paul Ritter have joined the cast of BBC One and NBCUniversal’s forthcoming surveillance conspiracy thriller, The Capture.

The six part series stars the previously announced Callum Turner (War And Peace, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald) and Holliday Grainger (Strike, Cinderella).

Also confirmed to join the show are Famke Janssen (X Men, Taken), Laura Haddock (Transformers: The Last Knight, Guardians Of The Galaxy), Ben Miles (The Crown, Coupling), Lia Williams (The Crown, Kiri), Sophia Brown (Clique, Marcella), Adelayo Adedayo (Origin, Some Girls) and Ralph Ineson (Harry Potter, Game Of Thrones).

Written and directed by Ben Chanan, the show is produced by Heyday Television and NBCUniversal International Studios for BBC One and is described as “an acutely timely surveillance thriller” which looks at a troubling world of misinformation, fake news, and the extraordinary technological capabilities of the intelligence services.

Chanan says: “I am incredibly excited to see The Capture brought to life by such a wonderful cast and crew. It’s an honour to come to work every day with these hugely talented people.”
