Next weekend’s Empire Presents BIG SCREEN continues to grow ever more unmissable with the news that Sherlock creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss and Pixar films are joining the lineup.

Pixar’s twenty five years of animation will be celebrated with a screening of ALL twelve Disney.Pixar films.

Each of the films will be preceded a sneak peek of forthcoming spectacular Brave, a story of Scottish Princess Merida who defies her parents and jeopardises her father’s kingdom in the process.

The film features the voices of Kelly McDonald (Boardwalk Empire, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2), Robbie Coltrane (Harry Potter Film Series, Cracker) and Emma Thompson (Nanny McPhee) and is set to continue Disney.Pixar’s run of box office successes.

The event’s opening day (Friday 12th) will also mark one of the small screen’s biggest recent successes – Gatiss and Moffat’s re-imagining of Sherlock Holmes which wowed BBC One audiences last year.

With stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman currently filming the second series, the writers will discuss the story behind the hit show’s creation.
