Satellite broadcaster Sky has launched a new Sky Movies app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
The free app, which can be downloaded from the App Store, offers customers full details of movies on Sky’s movie channels and Box Office PPV service plus the latest cinema releases.
User can also use the app to record upcoming films and view trailers.
Ian Lewis, Director of Sky Movies said, “We continually strive to give our customers the best possible movie service and this is just one additional feature out of many we have planned for Sky Movies over the coming months.”
Sky says an version of the app will be available for Google’s Android operating system “early next year”.
