Sky has published a video of its new-look Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) which is currently being rolled out.
In a blog posting Sky TV Brand Director Luke Bradley-Jones says new guide will be available on “ten of thousands of boxes from today and expanding to millions more before the end of 2012.”
Bradley-Jones writes: “One of the key changes that customers will notice over the next few months is that the design of the pages reflects the increasing popularity of on-demand viewing, following the success of our internet delivered video on-demand service Sky Anytime+, which as of last month is now available to 5 million homes with a Sky+HD box through any internet connection.”
Other changes include increasing the number of channels available per page from six to eight, a move Sky says will make it easier to browse content, and a new option to browse through recordings by genre.
