Sony Ericsson has launched Pocket TV – a music-based entertainment show designed to be watched on any mobile phone or via a dedicated YouTube channel – www.youtube.com/pockettvshow.
The week series is hosted by newcomer Matt Edmondson, who will be hlped each week by a team of roving reporters.
Sony Ericsson say the shows “will feature irreverent, humorous and enlightening interviews with artists and bands, live sessions as well as behind the scenes features.”
Tthe first episode includes Brit Award winner Florence and the Machine back at art college, MOBO award winning number one hip hop group N-Dubz being grilled up close, and much hyped American vegans Hockey will be performing an acoustic set in a greasy spoon café in front of the locals.
Pocket TV will be free to download each week in 5 90 second segments, to any handset through a dedicated WAP site (pockettvshow.mobi). It will also be available to watch in extended three minute clips or a 15min show via a dedicated YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/pockettvshow.
