TalkTalk axes more TV content

TalkTalk_TV_player_2Just days after it announced the removal of six entertainment and factual channels, TalkTalk has told users it’s now scrapping its ITV boxsets add-on.

Launched in November 2014, the £5 a month service offered over 200 hours of ITV boxsets, including Birds of a Feather and Lewis.

At the time of its launch, TalkTalk’s Olivia Streatfeild said: “Collections from ITV gives customers simple, flexible and affordable access to more dramas, game shows and reality TV.

“This additional service is part of our commitment to make Britain better off by continuing to build on our award-winning content from all over the globe to ensure homes have a wealth of family entertainment at an affordable price.”

However on Friday the company emailed customers to say the add-on was being axed.
