TalkTalk TV makes channels and boxsets free for Christmas

December 12, 2014 - Staff@seenituk

talktalk_brand_shotTalkTalk TV customers are getting an early Christmas treat after the ISP made six of UKTV’s biggest channels free over the festive period.

The move means customers can enjoy a mix of archive and new shows on GOLD, Watch, Alibi, Eden, Good Food and Home from today until 8 January at no extra cost.

Programming highlights include The Office, Blackadder, Gavin and Stacey, Planet Earth and Sherlock.

The channels are normally only available as part TalkTalk’s Entertainment and Entertainment Extra Boosts.

Today’s ‘free preview’ offer is the latest announced by the ISP as it seeks to increase the number of customers paying for content.

The firm’s offer of a free box and low cost channel ‘boosts’ has helped it sign up more than a million TV customers, however many do not subscribe to additional content and others only do so on a short term basis.

In addition to the UKTV channels, TalkTalk has also made its Collections from ITV and TVBox boxsets boots free until December 17th.
