Terminator Salvation, the long-awaited fourth Terminator movie, hits the UK’s screens tomorrow, 3rd June, with Christian Bale starring as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators.
Like Connor, Terminator fans may think they know what the future has in store but the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row somehow alters the future Sarah Connor raised her son to play such an important role in.
John finds himself having to decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.
This latest installment of “The Terminator” franchise is directed by McG, from a screenplay by Michael Ferris and John Brancato.
As well as Bale, the film stars Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese, Bryce Dallas Howard as Kate Brewster, Moon Bloodgood as Blair Williams, Helena Bonham Carter as Serena Kogen, Common as Barnes, and Jadagrace as Star.
