Sky Sports will broadcast its first ever 4K Ultra-High Definition Test cricket coverage this summer when England take on South Africa in their Test series across July and August.
4K coverage will be available exclusively to Sky Q customers in the UK and Ireland who the broadcaster is promising “can look forward to every ball of England’s Test series against South Africa in stunning Ultra HD with picture quality four times that of HD TV.”
The four Test matches against South Africa form part of Sky’s biggest ever summer of sport and will be shown exclusively live throughout July and August. The multi camera coverage, available with Sky Q, will be supported by stunning Ultra HD graphics, Hawkeye and enhanced statistical offerings.
