Keeping to the US tradition of rejecting any show that doesn’t have American accents, the series keeps the basic premise and characters of Damon Beesley and Iain Morris’s award-winning comedy but transfers them to a stateside High School.
The US version stars Joey Pollari as Will McKenzie, Bubba Lewis as Simon Cooper, Zack Pearlman as Jay Cartwright, Mark L. Young as Neil Sutherland, Alex Frnka as Carli D’Amato and Brett Gelman as Mr. Gilbert.
The trailer suggests the American’s have also kept to the tradition of ripping all the comedy out of series.
