Three’s customers can now grab Netgem’s NetBox HD set top box for just £49

Set top box maker Netgem has teamed up with Three to offer the mobile network’s customers a special deal on their recently launched NetBox HD set top box.

The box bring easy access to Freeview Play, which includes broadcast channels plus access to iPlayer, All4, ITV Player, My5 and UKTV Play, as well as Amazon Prime Video and Alexa and normally costs £129 from retailers.

However today’s tie-up means Three’s customers can upgrade their telly experience for just £49, payable as a £19 upfront payment followed by £5 a month for 6 months.

The deal is available via Three’s Wuntu loyalty app.

Netgem is the force behind EETV and with its new boxes is helping a number of Fibre To The Home broadband providers offer a bundled TV service to users.

The firm says its deal with Three marks “the first time an operator offers a TV service without hard bundling it to their services but rather in indirect distribution mode.”
