Broadcaster UKTV, which runs the popular Dave, Gold and Watch TV channels, is to move to a “ground-breaking new” eco-friendly building in Hammersmith Grove.
The company has signed a 15-year lease with Development Securities PLC which will see 10 Hammersmith Grove become the home to its own on-site studios, editing facilities and screening room.
Around 250 staff will be based at the new HQ which UKTV says will be “built for innovation”.
One of the nation’s largest broadcasters, UKTV’s portfolio of free to air (FTA) and Pay-TV channels also includes Yesterday, Really, Alibi, Eden, Good Food, Home and Drama.
Chief Executive Darren Childs said the new building would be “a ground-breaking facility for UKTV.”
He added: “The new development increases the size of our current office and gives us the opportunity to create an inspirational working space fit for a broadcaster with a commitment to technology, imagination and the future of media.
“Technology will be at the heart of our progressive new workspace, and it will give everyone at UKTV the freedom to work creatively and collaboratively.”
