UKTV’s Dave orders more Storage Hunters UK

November 4, 2015 - Staff@seenituk

Storage_Hunters_Celebrity_SpecialUKTV has commissioned two further series of Storage Hunters UK and a one-off celebrity special for its free to air entertainment channel, Dave.

Based on T Group’s original US hit, the show is one of Dave’s biggest audience pullers and is fronted by auctioneer Sean Kelly.

Joining Kelly for the charity celebrity special will be Bob Mortimer, Kimberly Wyatt, Ross Noble, Jimi Mistry, Shaun Ryder and Jenny Éclair and viewers will be able to see how well they do this Christmas.

The fourth and fifth series of the regular show will each compromise of 10 episodes.

Richard Watsham, UKTV’s director of commissioning, said, “The order of another 20 episodes is testament to the strength of the Storage Hunters brand and the draw of the brilliant cast of characters who make it such a fun and compelling watch.

“The fact that we can add to that cast with these fantastic celebrities, if only for one special, is very exciting. It should be a real treat for fans and new viewers alike.”
