Ultimate Ears, a division of computer accessory giant Logitech, has launched a new Bluetooth enabled speaker which allows music fans to enjoy their favourite tunes in stereo without the need for messy cables.

The vibrantly coloured UE Mini Boom personal speaker allow music to be streamed from up to 50 feet away and offers 10 hour battery life and, we’re told, “clear highs and deep bass” to give great sound wherever you are.

A free app available for both iOS and Android allows users to pair two of the speakers for double the sound.

The UE Mini Boom makes its European debut in Apple’s retail and online stores and will be available from other retailers from February 2014 for a suggested retail price of £79.00.

“Whether you’re at home watching the latest music video on your tablet, taking a long road trip with family or just listening to your favorite tunes, the UE MINI BOOM was designed to be the ideal companion for today’s music consumption lifestyle.”
