Adrian Mole TV adaptations now on DVD

July 2, 2012 - Staff@seenituk

Thames Television’s adaptations of Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13¾ and The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole are now available to buy on DVD boxset.

Released by Network DVD, Adrian Mole: The Complete Series stars Gian Sammarco as Adrian, Lindsey Stagg as classmate and girlfriend Pandora, Stephen Moore as Adrian’s father George Mole and Julie Walters (Series 1) & Lulu (Series 2) as mother Pauline.

The two series also star Beryl Reid as George Mole’s mother and Adrian’s grandmother, Bill Fraser as Bert Baxter and Doris Hare as Bert’s girlfriend Queenie.

Ian Dury’s Profoundly In Love With Pandora opening theme tune (see below) remains one of the best for any TV series.

Buy your copy today from Amazon.co.uk or the seenit.co.uk store.

Mercifully the BBC’s uninspired, humourless and dreary adaption of The Cappuccino Years is not available to buy.
